NEMCo is a partnership among the cities of Kenmore and Lake Forest Park, and Shoreline Fire Department to maximize each of the participating agencies emergency preparedness efforts and resources to serve our Northshore community.



Training
NEMCo Training Opportunities
NEMCo conducts mini-trainings during our monthly (second Tuesday) meetings at Fire Station 51 in Kenmore. We also have three-hour training every month (typically the Saturday following the monthly meeting) and the location if different from Station 51 is announced typically a month in advance. The Public is welcome to attend all our training events.

The RACES group also periodically sponsors technician-level courses to prepare for the Federal Communication Commission's Amateur Radio licensing. These will be announced on our Home page and at RACES meetings (held on Third Tuesdays, 7-9pm, Kenmore Fire Station 51.

Other Area Training
CPR/AED and First Aid Classes
The Shoreline Fire Department offers these classes on a regular basis. The classes fill up quickly.
South Snohomish County Fire Department also offers a variety of classes.

Stop The Bleed Training
The Trauma department at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett offers this class once a month, usually the third Thursday, free for the public.
